For a complete YouTube walkaround of Dolce, click on "YouTube Walkaround" at the upper right corner of this page.
Dolce is currently in Puerto Vallarta MX. She can be moved anywhere from Vancouver to Florida, across the Pacific, or keep her in Mexico and explore one of the best cruising areas in the world. We live in San Diego. Contact us at: email@example.com
Dolce is our third Island Packet! After owning a 1997 IP 37 for a couple of years, we purchased a new 2001 IP420, which the two of us sailed across the Pacific in 2007. We traded "Far Niente" back to our selling dealer, Darrell Allen of Suncoast Yachts (who is now the owner of Island Packet Yachts). We spec'd and ordered Dolce in 2008, exactly as we wanted for a world cruiser. While we haven't duplicated our Puddle Jump, we've commuter-cruised California and Mexico for the past 12 years. We think Dolce is the nicest Island Packet ever built! Our Selling Price is $492,500 USD.
We are selling Dolce "by owner" without a broker. No one pays $50,000 in broker commissions, and save $45,000 in sales tax by taking offshore international delivery - very easy - we've done it 3 times. We have access to an independent document transfer company (Dona Jenkins) and an independent marine lawyer (with your approval, of course) who can protect both the Buyer and Seller. We are happy to conduct a full marine survey and test sail with you, and spend whatever time you need as buyer (several days if needed) to understand Dolce and her operation. We have complete maintenance and repair logs since 2008 - over 320 entries; and a maintenance spreadsheet with over 100 maintenance items on all systems. Available for your review and questions. She is washed every two weeks, and fully managed in Puerto Vallarta when we aren't there.
Insurance required a marine survey at 10 years (2018). The survey revealed only minor items, and we are happy to provide it. There's an ashtray in one segment of the video - it's our coin holder - never any smoking on Dolce. She is USCG documented, not owned by an LLC.
